Licensed nurses, trained to bring truth, not fear, into schools in their own communities.
Licensed RNs
We are looking for registered nurses with an active license: school nurses, ER and hospital nurses, community and public health nurses, and nursing faculty. You do not need to be a speaker. You need to be someone students and parents can trust.
Certified Nurse Leaders will also need to pass a background check and carry or be covered by liability insurance. Requirements vary by state and will be published before certification opens.
What training involves
Online course
The Breathe Clear method, the curriculum, and how to run the live ER simulation.
One live day
Hands-on practice, led by the Breathe Clear team.
Observed first session
A fidelity checklist and review, so the program is taught the same way everywhere.
Annual recertification
Stay current on the content and on safety guidance.
Districts book. Nurse Leaders teach.
- Schools and districts license Breathe Clear and book live events in their area.
- Certified Nurse Leaders near the school take those events and are paid per event.
- Breathe Clear handles the booking, the materials, and the platform, and keeps a platform and booking fee.
- You keep your job and set the events you take on around your schedule.
Pay rates and any training fees will be published before certification opens, so there are no surprises.

Can I get certified today?
No. Certification opens after the Gwinnett pilot. The interest list is how we reach you first.
Do I have to leave my current job?
No. Nurse Leaders take events around their own schedules.
Does my state matter?
Yes. We are starting in Georgia and will add states in order. Tell us your license state and we will let you know when your state is next.
How do I get paid?
Per event. The pay structure and rates will be published before certification opens.
Do I write my own lessons?
No. You teach the Breathe Clear curriculum as designed, and a fidelity checklist keeps it consistent.
I am a nursing student. Can I join?
Certification is for licensed RNs. Email us and tell us about your program; we are interested in working with nursing schools.
What do you do with my information?
We use it only to contact you about Breathe Clear Nurse Leader certification.
