Vision Bridge Project
The Vision Bridge Project is a practical online course for the mothers of African American boys who want strong young men — even when the father isn’t in the picture. I built it from the ward rounds where I’ve seen families struggle, and the neighborhoods where I grew up.
Built for single mothers raising Black boys
Every module is grounded in real ER stories, real struggles, and real wins. You get to lean on my experience when I’ve had to speak hard truths, calm worried moms, and help boys build pride without pressure.
- How to fill the safety gap when dad isn’t around.
- Communication rituals that invite respect, not fear.
- Tools for emotional check-ins, accountability, and boundaries.
What the course includes
Five standalone lessons, downloadable playbooks, and weekly prompts that walk you through every stage of growth — from the tone of a bedtime talk to the language you use with teachers and coaches.
- Lesson 1: Identity & Confidence Builders
- Lesson 2: Health, Nutrition & Stress for Black Bodies
- Lesson 3: Communication Across Generations
- Lesson 4: Community Safety & Real Talk About the ER
- Lesson 5: Setting Up a Legacy of Leadership
“Charles breaks the cycle of shame and fear. Vision Bridge helped me talk to my son when all else failed. We finally found a rhythm.”
“I used to think it took perfect conditions to raise a strong Black boy. This course showed me the practical rituals that work on a busy shift schedule.”
Why $100 is the best investment you’ll make all year
That $100 unlocks lifetime access to the course, the playbooks, and weekly prompts. It also funds the Nurse Charles studio so that I can keep producing free resources for parents, nurses, and anyone trying to protect Black youth.
You can work through the modules on your own schedule — the lessons stay open, and you can review them anytime you need to reassure yourself that you’re doing enough.
